Our 2006 campaign is to bring a vast variety of wildlife, such as birds, bees, hedgehogs, Butterflys and much more to the garden.
For Town and City gardeners this can be yet another challenge, but you too can get involved. As always you do not have to have a large garden in order to be able to plant to encourage wildlife. Wildflowers can be grown in pots and containers and positioned in the garden to encourage wildlife to visit and thrive. Have a look at our container page to get some ideas for suitable plants and pots for planting. Below we have a few ideas for wildlife containers which you might like to try. The wildlife containers feature many plants which are excellent for encouraging wildlife into your Town Garden. In order to have months of wildlife interest the wildlife containers are designed to give interest, fragrance and colour from March through to September. | B=bulb T=trailing plant P=perennial (will re-grow each year) A=annual (have to grow from seed each year)H=Kitchen herb E=evening nectar plant
